Where is Lakewood?

There are actually two distinct areas that are called Lakewood.  They are located in N.W.  Austin. The original area is hidden away East of RM 2222 and just South of Loop 360.  The other part is connected by Lakewood Dr., but is on the N. side of Loop 360.

What is Lakewood like?

The section on the S. side of 360  was started back in the early 1960′s and was on the outside edge of town then.  The other part is connected by Lakewood Dr. but is on the N. side of Loop 360.  They are both close to the Bull Creek arm of Lake Austin and the winding Spicewood Springs.  The N. side contains homes, and town homes and has a nice common area with a pool.  The children there attend Austin schools.
