Balcones village is NW Austin on the West side of HWY 183.  It is located between Spicewood Springs Rd. to the South and Anderson Mill Road to the North.

What is Balcones Village Like?

Balcones Village is a beautiful setting with lots of mature trees and an eighteen hole golf course.  The homes have a variety of architecture and were built from the late 1960′s to the last few years.  The topography is rolling and the home lots are larger than most that are developed today. Balcones Village is very popular with retired couples and young couples with school age children.  Balcones Village is located in the highly sought after Round Rock School District.

Balcones Country Club:

Balcones Country Club has been around since the 1960′s.  It originally started as a nine hole golf course and to eighteen holes a few years later.  Balcones Club has golf, tennis, swimming, and full dining service.  Balcones Club offers full golf membership for $313.00 per month (2009), and Social and swimming membership for $90.00 per month ( June, 2009 ).  The golf membership allows you to play the eighteen holes at Balcones and the additional eighteen holes at the Spicewood at Balcones Village course which is contiguous with Balcones Village.
